Manufacturing Renaissance is a Chicago-based nonprofit organization, founded in 1982 in effort to address the wide scale loss of jobs and its impact on communities.

Today, our Mission is to advance sustainable development anchored in manufacturing.

MR’s strategic approach is guided by a comprehensive understanding of sustainable development, as defined by the United Nations, and grounded in experience over the last 38 years.

The Chicagoland Manufacturing Renaissance Council (CMRC) is a network of organizations and individuals who are advocates for policies and programs related to expanding manufacturing in our region. Join us!

Career Pathway Services

Featured Programs: 

Training, job placements and supports for youth and young adults. Manufacturing Connect (MC) serves in-school youth, ages 14-18, and the Young Manufacturers Association (YMA) serves young adults, ages 18-29.
