Manufacturing Connect (MC) started in 2007 out of Austin College & Career Academy, formerly known as Austin Polytech Academy. Today, MC serves in-school youth as a community-based, after-school program. Through MC, youth can access: paid work experiences, training for industry credentials, career and college counseling, job placement and retention supports.

Manufacturing Connect participants:

  2. Participate in multiple work experiences, including internships, job shadows and summer jobs
