EVANSTON TOWNSHIP HS LAUNCHES UPGRADED ADVANCED MANUFACTURING LAB

Township educators, manufacturing company partners, students, government officials and friends cut the ribbon on November 10, 2015 on modern facilities designed to better prepare students for manufacturing-related college and career options. DAN SWINNEY PUBLISHED IN THE BRIDGE, FALL ISSUE

The National Academy of Engineering’s publication The Bridge published Dan’s article “Balancing Innovation in Technology with Social Inclusion: The Second Industrial Revolution.” This is an influential journal read by members of Congress, the White House and other national policy centers. Dan’s article highlights how social inclusion and community development are central to innovation in advanced manufacturing.
