CMRC MEMBERSHIP MEETING, WITH BASQUE DELEGATE AS SPECIAL GUEST

Last Wednesday we held our Chicagoland Manufacturing Renaissance Council membership meeting at Freedman Seating. About 20 organizations were present and the agenda covered programmatic updates, our new membership engagement plan and a panel discussion. IIT DESIGN INSTITUTE REPORT

The Illinois Institute of Technology Design Institute shared the final report from their "Made in Chicago" project. The project, which took over the course of a year, aimed to map and understand the ecosystem of "making and manufacturing" present in Chicago's economy. Specifically, it sought to answer the three following questions: "How might Chicago’s economy evolve to support more pluralistic modes of making and manufacturing in the future?
